Thought about Teaching

In the magical world, fairies spread their wings up high and fly to explore the marvelous beauty of the world.  According to legends and fairytales, the role of the fairies is to help people feel happy, optimistic and hopeful. Fairies can’t live without their pixie dusts. They seek, they search and they even risk their lives to find their pixie dusts. Teachers are fairies. They seek to find new strategies .They explore methods and techniques. They search for various authentic activities .They rebel against the traditional methods of teaching. The teachers’ role is to enlighten the path of the students to become successful member in the society by using their  sprinkles of their pixie dusts.
Have you ever wondered why teaching is not an easy profession?
The teacher is subjected to deal with many student from different background with different experiences that mean she has she has to deal with different minds and even different ways of thinking.
An expert teacher knows very well that each student is unique. Each student has different abilities. Each student is intelligent; hence, the teacher should avoid underestimating the
students ‘abilities and she should have faith that the students will become successful members in the society. The teacher should always remember that she is raising a generation; hence, she is a mother for the students. The teacher should provide enough love, affection and support to nourish the students because they are like a flower the need enough love, affection and support to bloom and grow
According to Vygotsky, the students’ learn through social interaction.
The teacher can arouse her students to communicate through stimulating discussions about interesting topic.
Moreover, According to Swain and Long, collaborative dialogue enhances the oral communication’ skills of the learners, from that point I do believe in the importance of social interaction inside the class. Social interaction helps the learner to master both accuracy and fluency in communication.
As a teacher I must integrate in my lessons  activities that are mostly communicative, and authentic .Authentic activities allow the student to be more engaged in the lesson; as an example, I will make the students role play different roles to develop their sense of creativity and authenticity as well.

The students don’t like anyone to humiliate them .Teachers are recommended to  avoid humiliating the students because the latter are sensitive and emotional well-being.
In addition, humiliations cause long psychological scars that affect negatively on the students.

The teacher should be tolerant and patient especially when she deals with students of different learning abilities. Some of the students master new concepts easily .On the other hand some students take a long time to grasp new information in their memory.
A teacher is expected to use  meaningful learning tools .Making connections between the students experience and the new lesson, bringing visual and material to the class, asking self-involvement questions. All these techniques can help the students to find the purpose of what they are learning
A good teacher should treat the students without discrimination. . When the teacher treats the students equally, this will provide comfy environment for learning.

All the students like when the teacher shed the light on their life because they will feel that they are important  members in the class .When the teacher asks the  students  questions related to their life this will make the latter attentive and intrinsically motivated to learn .It is highly recommended for the teacher  to ask self-involvement questions.
Teaching is not an easy profession,It requires consistency and commitment.
