Meaningful Learning







Meaningful Learning is a concept in which the learners understand the information deeply.Meaningul learning helps to store the information in the long term memory.It helps the students to make connection between prior information with new information.
Teachers are highly recommended to integrate meaningful learning in their teaching processes.Meaningful learning is totally different from rote learning.Rote learning is based on memorizing the information without deep understanding to the new information.
There are many techniques that the teacher can use to create a meaningful learning in the classroom. .It is highly important to develop the students'schemata with direct and indirect experiences.For instance,the teacher is expected to use many posters,graphic organizers,and pictures.The teacher can take the students to a filed trip.The teacher is expected to respect the learners' needs.Thus,the teacher is recommended to use different styles in  teachingAll these techniques can help the students to process,comprehend and retain the new information easily.
